Alliance Medical, Midland Regional Hospital Portlaoise

• Public car park spaces are available in a long-term car park and in the short-term car parks. There is a charge for the use of these facilities. Please note that different charges apply at the long-term car park and at the short-term car park. There are pay machines in the hospital grounds and 1 pay station inside the front door of the hospital.
• Please ensure, when parking your car, you do not obstruct free passage on the hospital roadways or occupy reserved spaces which may be needed in emergencies.
• Disabled car park spaces are reserved for permit holders.
• There are a small number of ‘set-down’ spaces situated close to the front door. These are for use in the event of emergency ‘set-down’ and/or for collection of patients/babies on discharge from the hospital.
• Cars parked in non-designated parking spaces may be clamped. A clamp removal fee will apply.

MRI is covered by *VHI (*Consultant only), Laya, Irish Life, Level Health, Garda and Prison Officer Aid.

• The Midland Regional Hospital at Portlaoise is located on the Block Road which is a link road between the Portlaoise to Dublin Road (R445) and the Portlaoise to Carlow Road (N80).
• The hospital is located on the Dublin side of Portlaoise. Entrance to the hospital is via the Block Road entrance. Please note that the entrance from the Dublin Road is an ambulance only entrance/exit.
• The hospital is approximately 1.6 kilometres from the centre of town.
