Safety of all Onsite
Ensuring the safety of all onsite is one of the AMDI quality goals. Operating with a comprehensive set of systems, standards and process, provided through various channels, our staff have a very clear framework for ensuring best practice. Our clinical policies are continually evolving, they are reviewed and updated regularly, which keeps staff abreast of updated best practice and changing regulation.

Our systems, standards and process cover the areas of:
- Clinical governance and patient safety
- Health and Safety
- Clinical and quality audit
- Risk management
- Regulatory compliance
- External validation (clinical accreditation and ISO)
- Process refinement
Internationally Recognised
Accreditation and Certification
Alliance Medical holds both clinical accreditation and ISO 9001 certification. All clinical operations and corporate functions are included under these accreditation standards. We are independently audited by CHKS.
As of March 2024, Alliance Medical was awarded ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification for Information Security by NSAI.

Regulatory Compliance
Alliance Medical Diagnostic Imaging undergoes regular external inspections which evaluate our compliance with the regulations that govern our service.
Clinical Audit
Alliance Medical in Ireland has implemented third part clinical audit on some of our contracts. This process gives our commissioners assurance that the image quality, reporting opinion and report clarity are consistently monitored.
We also undertake various quality audits throughout the year. These audits aim to assess compliance with AMDI policies and procedures as well as regulatory, accreditation and certification requirements. The results of these audits are reported to key internal and external stakeholders as required.
Clinical Governance
The clinical quality of our imaging services is underpinned by our Clinical Governance Committee (CGC). The purpose of the CGC is to provide assurance to senior management that key company clinical systems and processes are managed within a robust framework.

These systems include, but are not limited to:
- Incident and Complaints Review / Management
- MRI Safety
- Radiation Safety
- Ultrasound Safety
- Medicines Management
- Clinical Processes and Infection Control
In addition, the Clinical Governance Committee seeks and encourages the participation of a wider body of experts, as well as ensuring that standards across the organisation are applied consistently. This helps to ensure the best possible patient outcomes.
Alliance Medical is dedicated to providing a service that is efficient and safe, but as importantly, delivers a positive patient experience. We
Alliance Medical is committed to listening to our patients and welcome all feedback so that we can learn and improve our service if needed and recognise those who deserve it.
Patient satisfaction – How did we do
Alliance medical encourages open and honest feedback from our patients through our online patient satisfaction survey.
