Dublin Simon Community

Dublin Simon Community work to prevent and address homelessness in Dublin, Kildare, Wicklow, Meath, Louth, Cavan and Monaghan. They provide services at all stages of homelessness and empower people to access and retain a place they can call home. The attitude of The Simon Community is ‘You are homeless. You are not less’. The Simon Community have a number of different donation options and Alliance Medical have pledged to donate €5,000 towards light and heating bills, a literacy programme and home starter packs.

Our team in Cherrywood lead a clothing drive recently which was a phenomenal success. Both our sites in Cherrywood and Smithfield donated bags of clothes / items and together there was 40 plus bags collected on the day. These were dropped off directly to The Dublin Simon Community. A huge thank you to all who were involved!

The Cancer Fund for Children 

Daisy Lodge (run by The Cancer Fund for Children) provides therapeutic short breaks for children aged 0 -18 and their families. Therapeutic breaks provide families with the opportunity to spend quality time together in a peaceful and nurturing environment far removed from cancer treatment and hospital care. For every family they can support there are 6 more families they cannot help due to the demand for their services. Alliance Medical recently donated €5,000 to The Cancer Fund for Children.

The Alliance Medical Business Development Team also arranged their own fundraiser with each member of the team walking 180 miles over the course of January 2022. The team raised a further €17,500 bringing the total donated to The Cancer Fund for Children to €22,500.
