Rights
As a patient at Alliance Medical Diagnostic Imaging, you have fundamental rights which are captured below.
Your Rights
You have a right to:
- High quality imaging undertaken by qualified staff
- The provision of a Radiology report (to your referring clinician)
- Caring and empathetic staff
- Be provided with relevant information prior to your scan
- Personal privacy and dignity without prejudice
Patient Responsibilities
The field of Radiology is extremely safe; however, we must adhere to strict guidelines and protocols to guarantee this.
AMDI has implemented multiple processes to ensure your safety, but we also rely on the assistance and cooperation of our patients to enable us to provide the safest possible environment for everyone.

You have a responsibility to:
- Provide all information in response to questions from staff
- Complete our forms in full, providing all information
- Tell us any information that you believe may be relevant (the list to the right is not exhaustive
Tell us if you have:
- Any reason to believe you are pregnant
- Worked with metal previously
- Any metal / medical device on / inserted in your person
- Experienced a previous allergic reaction to medication
- Undergone any radiology imaging of any kind in the last 3 months
- Undergone any surgery in the last 3 months
- Wait onsite for the requisite time following your scan, if instructed to
- Allow staff to safely remove any medical devices prior to leaving the centre
- Follow any scan specific or other instructions issued by our staff or in documentation

Patient Complaints
When our patient’s or other service users believe that we have failed on any aspect of our service delivery we would like to know about it. Patients are encouraged to raise any issues regarding their care with the management team at the site they attended, or via the ‘contact us’ button on this website.
